1. Workmanship & Consumer Guarantees
MCS warrants that all preparation and application of our Signature Stunning Melbourne Concrete Sealing and Resurfacing System™ will be performed with due care and skill, strictly adhering to the manufacturer’s Technical Data Sheets (TDS). Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. This workmanship warranty covers our application for a period of 12 months from completion.

 2. Material & Product Liability
MCS utilizes premium Australian-made resins and sealers. Please note that MCS is the applicator, not the manufacturer. Any claims regarding material performance, chemical batch consistency, or UV stability must be directed to the product manufacturer. MCS provides no independent warranty for the inherent chemical properties of these materials.

 3. Structural Disclaimer: The "Decorative Skin" Clause
Our resurfacing system is a high-quality decorative "skin" bonded to your concrete. It is an aesthetic finish, not a structural repair or reinforcement system.
Reflective Cracking: Because this coating is bonded to the substrate, it will "mirror" any movement in the underlying slab. MCS is not responsible for cracks that reappear (reflective cracking) due to ground movement, slab settlement, or curing.
Structural Integrity: MCS is a decorative contractor, not a structural engineer. We do not warrant against the concrete slab sinking, shifting, or cracking after our application.

 4. Site Conditions, Prep & Grinding
Concrete Quality: MCS is not liable for coating failures or surface damage caused by poor-quality original concrete, "soft" slabs, or previous contamination.
Grinding & Dust: Mechanical grinding is a standard part of our preparation. While we use dust extraction, MCS is not liable for minor environmental dust or the revelation of slab defects (pitting/spalling) during the grinding process.
Environmental & Third Party: MCS is not liable for damage caused by "acts of nature" (rain, leaves, insects) or third parties (pets, pedestrians, or vehicles) entering the work zone during the curing process.

 5. Underground Services
The customer must notify MCS of any shallow-buried services (pipes/cables) prior to commencement. MCS is not liable for damage to services that do not meet Australian depth standards or were not clearly marked.

 6. Natural Stone & Sealing Disclaimer
Natural stone is a product of nature and subject to variations in color, texture, and porosity. MCS is not liable for "efflorescence" (natural white salt deposits) or "subsurface staining" originating from the soil or bedding sand beneath the stone. Sealers are "stain-resistant," not "stain-proof."

 7. Epoxy & Impermeable Coatings (Moisture)
Epoxy floor success relies on a dry substrate. MCS is not liable for coating failure (bubbling or delamination) caused by "hydrostatic pressure" or moisture vapor transmission originating from beneath the concrete slab.

8. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a site consultation, accepting a quote, or paying a deposit, the Client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these Master Service Terms.
